In this application, the FQPV2 proportional valve and F series flow monitor can accurately control the air flow in atomized spray and medical product coating applications. Sprays are used to apply medical products. The F Series measures flow and provides a second loop feedback signal to the FQPV2 to increase or decrease flow. When the pressurized air is combined with the coating material, the material is atomized for spraying. Its coating is consistent and accurate.
In this atomized spray flow control application, the FQPV2 and F series will automatically compensate for any accumulation in the nozzle. When the nozzle is clogged, the flow is increased to maintain the plume. This increase can easily be monitored to see when the nozzle needs to be cleaned. This prevents undesirable products from irregular coating and limits downtime.
