One of the applications of Proportionair proportional valve in pharmaceutical industry-liquid pressure control
A proportional valve QB2 paired with a Burling Valve process pressure regulator provides liquid pressure control to support various pressure, temperature, and wetted material requirements. Some of the liquids we can control include hydraulic oil, caustic soda, acid gases, water, and many others.
In this application, QB2 guides the BD series pressure reducing regulator, which controls the pressure of the water flowing to the reservoir. The DST Series stainless steel pressure sensor measures liquid pressure and provides secondary loop feedback to the QB2. This feedback becomes the primary signal to be compared with the (user supplied) command signal provided to QB2. The monitor analog output line is connected to the panel meter to display the accurate pressure entering the fuel tank. Burling Valve BD series regulators can handle a variety of gases, liquids and vapors.
