Application of Proportion-air Electric Proportional Valve in Radiator Leakage Test
QB1 controls the pressure in the radiator leak test to ensure quality. The DC series potentiometer issues a command to QB1 to reach the required pressure. The DS external pressure sensor senses pressure and provides a signal to the digital display to indicate whether the radiator is maintaining the required pressure. The purpose of this test is to test the pressure retention or leakage of the part. If there is a leak, manufacturing is suspended until the cause of the defect is known and repaired.
This radiator leak test is done by controlling the air pressure entering the radiator. Once the desired pressure is reached, the shut-off valve is activated to maintain the pressure. The external pressure sensor senses the pressure and provides an analog output to the display (and PLC) which displays/records the pressure.
