Vacuum Leak Testing by Positive Pressure for Proportion-air Electrical Proportional Valves
Quality control is essential in medical device manufacturing. When life depends on the correct operation of the product, failure is not an option. Manufacturing intravenous infusion bags is no exception, so they are tested before they are put into use. In this example, the QB3 pressure regulator is used to leak test the IV bag before it is ready for use. QB3 is ideal for applications because it does not require the use of two separate devices.
First, QB3 applies positive pressure to fill the bag with nitrogen. Once no leaks were confirmed, QB3 was then commanded to apply a vacuum and evacuate the nitrogen. These bags can now be filled with any liquid required.
