Application of Proportion-air Proportional Valve in Filling of Low Pressure Conduit
This application requires the medium to be added to the conduit at low pressure. 3 The valve group of MM1 is used to control the force of the syringe to distribute the medium into the catheter. The analog monitor of the MM1 closed-loop pressure regulator can be brought back to the controller for data acquisition and continuous monitoring of accurate pressure downstream.
MMs are ideal because they can be: mounted to a universal manifold (up to 12), share inlet pressure and exhaust ports, and control a single injector at the same time. In this image, the external pressure sensor is measuring the pressure entering the catheter and providing this feedback to the PLC. The PLC then calculates the required commands for each MM "in real time.
