In this process, the Proportion-Air QB1 / PSR assembly uses pressure to spray liquid media to coat the product or inject one medium into another.
The amount of liquid applied to the medium is controlled by atomizing air (liquid/air) to a specific ratio. In this case, the liquid medium/process medium ratio is critical. The atomizing air is varied to compensate for changes in the process medium flow rate detected by the flow meter in the process line.
The QBX directs the PSR volume booster to achieve the higher flow rate required for the atomized liquid. This is a low accuracy setting (approximately 2-4%).
