Application of Proportion-air Electric Proportional Valve in Vacuum Braking Test

 

Fatigue and life cycle testing are important tests to be performed when manufacturing brakes. This application showcases Proportion-Air products for vacuum brake testing. In this figure, QB2 on the RMV series amplifier is controlling the vacuum to the vacuum side of the brake booster through the vacuum reservoir. In addition, QB3 applies force to the actuator side of the brake booster in the fatigue test.
