The use of pneumatic drill bit is accepted by most enterprises because of its low energy consumption, fast response, can reach the required pressure and speed in a short time. However, the pneumatic drill bit has a large amount of gas. If the compressed air is not up to the standard and the water content is too large, it will cause the rotation speed of the drilling machine to be unstable, damage the pneumatic components, and bring a greater impact on the position and speed control, resulting in poor product quality and increased defective rate. At the same time, the poor quality of compressed air will damage other production equipment and affect all production links.

However, the gas consumption of pneumatic drill bit is extremely large. If the moisture content in the gas source is too large, the drilling speed of drilling machine will be unstable, the pneumatic components will be damaged, and the product quality will be poor and the rejection rate will increase.
Not only that, the poor quality of compressed air will also lead to pollution of solenoid valves and cylinders, uneven drilling speed of the spindle, and damage to electronic detection equipment, exposure machines, drilling machines, and optical detection equipment.
According to ISO8573/1 standard (typical compressed air quality classification) and industry standard (JBT5967-2007 air medium quality grade for pneumatic components and systems), the basic requirements for compressed air quality in PCB industry are: water content -20 ℃ (pressure dew point), dust content 0.1 μ, oil content 0.1 cm3/m. The pressure dew point is a measure of the quality of compressed air, and for PCB production with large air consumption,The average value of pressure dew point reaches -20 ℃In order to ensure the good quality of the circuit board. However, in the current market, the compressed air quality in the PCB industry is generally not up to standard, resulting in a high rate of defective products.
